Sounds ok for a 99. A little high on the mileage side.

    Is a 355 ride height higher than a 360?

CAFAX this car to see if the title is clean. The car does look a little higher than usual, no?

Is there a scretch under the passenger side's front bumper?

This dealer is willing o go from $88,800 on window to $75,000? What a gentleman :)

I've never gotten so lucky buying an f-car from an (independant) dealer- are you sure all is right?

EDIT but 75K is still probably too high- I just love the used car dealers that come up with "imaginary" prices

I'd also talk to service manager at F of BH about car...

Heh...I looked at that exact same car before buying my 355 from a private seller. I was test driving an Elise on that Lotus of South Bay lot...asked about the 355 and the manager wanted $80K at the time, which was three months ago.

Apparently, it's been sitting on the lot for quite some time. I would be cautious if I were you...

Thats a big price drop from 88,000 to 75,000....i don't know of a dealer that would deal that much unless maybe it's a 150,000+ car. I would look into the ones listed above by Black355 or Carclubla

Jay- saw in the Spotter's Thread that you test drove the 355 from Lotus dealer yesterday- what was the outcome? Just curious.. if you didn't buy it, keep us posted on your f-car shopping. It would be great to have another one in South Bay area - maybe we could get 2 to show up at Ruby's sometime :)

    Eric,

I test drowe the car. It drove nice and sounded great. It has a lot of blemishes on the leather inside and some scratches on the air intakes outside. The sales person was trying desperately to make the deal saying that is was well below market value, which I think it's a little on the high side for the milage and condition. I hav not see a car fax on it yet either. I really want a 360 though, but I wanted to try a 355. I like how the 360 drove better than the 355....
I went to the Yard House on Saturday but was to shy to say hi, but checked out the cars & took a few pix. I will get a F car sooner or later and then will join you guys at Ruby's and wherever else. Is the Ruby's thing going yet. I thought nobody could agree on a day or time...

Thanks for the update, Jay. It just seemed like there were "issues" with that car, especially since it hasn't sold (will not be suprised if it goes to auction soon). I will not touch the "360 vs. 355" issue as there are many threads on that :)

Nothing happening at Ruby's- I was joking because I think I'm the only f-car that has showed up there on a weekend. When you get your ride, maybe we can meet at the Lunada Bay thing and check it out together.

Best of luck, and I know it's easy for me to say, but don't be in too much of a rush as the right car will come along.

    Regards,

    Eric

    Eric,

I'm definately not in a rush, I have been looking for 6 months. I can't wait to hang out at Ruby's & CC and YH. Also trying to get my wife to accept that I want an F-car has not been easy. What's up with that crap. She has her brand new Escalade and doesn't want me to get rid of my MB S class to get a Ferrari!! Women.....

    Jay,
A suggestion...do like I do...bring your wife to various F-car events so she can appreciate what Ferrari really means. I have been trying to involve her with different events and even took her to the HOP where she met a lot of great guys/enthusiasts. She is impressed by what Ferrari really means to so many people.

Just take her to an event where Hank(Sound) is. After the get-together on Saturday and his enthusiasm, Carina is looking forward to her very own Mondial t Cab! He even "sold" it to her as a family car!
