Looks like a modded 360. I'm sure it will look a lot better in person.
If thats the finnished product.......its a 360,like i said last week. Not impressed, so the so called photo shop pics were right were they. Some how i would not feel inspired to sell a 360 to get one. We needed something different like when the 328 changed to the 348. I am not saying its not nice becourse it is, i mean it is a 360 afterall.
The frontal pic looks lile a photoshop to me. Looks like they blended a different headlight on to the modena's front. It's very fuzzy around the headlights. The backend looks very sharp as far as the pic goes. If i were you guys based on that rear pic keep your 360's. I never was a fan of the enzo rearend.
I guess the front intakes on that pic has to remind to the famous 1961 Ferrari 156 'Sharknose' Formula One car?
I don't think its that bad? The front end looks like a modified 360, very similar in design just smaller headlights and larger air scoops. The rear end bears a lot of similarity to the Enzo (maybe just the taillights, but they're so distinctive it's what makes the rear). Overall it looks like a next generation car, and while it may be a photoshop, I would understand if it become a reality. -Cyrus
Maybe because Ferrari does some serious reliability testing after all (I am waiting to see a mule shot in Finland or Norway though).
Could be a Photoshop... but the Sharknose could be a nice idea IMO... I guess we can be quite sure the final new car will have the Enzo back look? We will know for sure very soon...
I like this part of the translation: "for the perfect refrigeration of a mechanics, that all hope much more harnessed" Yea, I'd freez those damn mechanics too, until they harnessed a better design.............jk. Based on this, I think that the novelty will wear off this car rather quickly once it comes out. I'm curious if Ferrari guages these kinds of early reactions and will some how try to make the final product more exciting? We'll see.
It is ugly, but not hideous. I think Ferrari should not look into other designs for inspiration (Enzo). The rear of that Modena looks like a swelled-up Enzo. The front 3/4 view doesn't look that bad, but the rear just doesn't belong with the rest of the car. It looks to technical for a Modena. Overall, it is an ugly car, but you cant fully judge it until you see it in the flesh.
That doesn't look like a Pshop to me. The first pic is enlarged/cropped from a larger image - or just saved at a really, really low .jpeg setting. Nothing that sets off my spider sense. That second picture looks nice and sharp. Not likely to be a Pshop. Not impossible, but that doesn't have some of the telltale blurs and pixel smudges.
Screw you all. I'm getting one, and I'm excited So, it looks like the challenge grille / no challenge grille issue will be resolved - looks like the mesh will probably be standard.
The back is a busy mess, and far too high/thick. And the front, my god what did they do to the front. The two rounded radiator inlets look awful, totally mismatched to the angular rear. It's like they took the worst parts of the Enzo and 360 and combined them instead of the best parts. Very disappointed.
On second thought, I hope this is the final design. I won't have to worry about my 360 plunging in value any time soon!
You're probably right... the back definately looks real... but I'm not sure about the front... this can easily be done in Pshop. I still like the idea...
on a + note, at least they brought back the TR style side mirrors. (as I try to see something positive in this thing)
I think it is in Mexico for brochure shoot prior to VIP preview @ Historics next month. This is probably the big secret launch rumored in a Maranello thread, but I'm working on confirmation. As to the design, my 360 was prettier, more subtle. I do like the Enzo headlights, but the taillights and bulk of rear end are gawky. Front grille openings recall Chiti nose of 156, 330TR Hey, I just figured out rear end!!! More room for sponsor decals for in-car cameras to see on GT/Challenge cars!! Ferrari trying to reduce cost of racing for their customers
Look carefully the colours and the shapes : fortunately, nothing real. 100 % sure fantasy photoshop !!!
