    Interesting thread.

    I have never equated craft beer with hipsters...to me they have nothing to do with each other.

    I don't know if its different in the US but all of you mention hoppy IPAs when talking craft beer. In Canada craft beer just just means a smaller type brewery. Craft beers are lagers, stout, ales. bitters, IPAs etc. I love craft beer, in fact the wife and I will google breweries or bars that have a good craft beer selection when visiting other place/cities etc.
