I loved that 250 LM.

It's now in a collection in Germany.

Here's a photo of it from 2003 at the "Ferraris on 12th" event, which is no longer
around either.

Still available and notice the Byron Sanborn reference, he's local so there's the telltale.

This is my 15th year in the club and it's been a great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who owns a Ferrari, or is interested in the marque.

Plus, Ferrari ownership is NOT required to join (unlike the Porsche Club and others).
I was always under the impression you needed a VIN to be a member, thanks for the clarification.

I believe that is for the "Ferrari Owner's Club". FOC.

While the wording in the name seems like this might be true, nothing could be farther from it. The Ferrari Owner's Club only requires enthusiasm to join, not a Ferrari.

In Fact, the Ferrari Owner's Club motto is "We Drive" and backed that up by fully funding, insuring, and hosting the largest 3 day trip of Exotic Cars of all makes in the Pacific North West to the Columbia Gorge.
See this thread:
Ferrari Invitation for 3 day drive through the Volcano Region and MaryHill Loops road

Just got the notice about the upcoming FOC Fall Wine Weekend trip, you should consider attending.
