Indeed ----- definitely NOT a real Countach. Looks like a fairly decent kit, though ---- depending on what it is running for chassis and mechanicals.....

i urge you to go look at some photos of a real countach and then come back and look at that kit... you will laugh at yourself for ever calling it somewhat decent...

anyways, tomorrow is the FCA event! someone needs to go and get pics!

Pucker up..........

Alright, my buddy just emailed me back. At the St. Donatus event I tipped you guys off on, there were 9 Ferraris including an F50, F430, 355 Spyder, 355 GTS, 328 GTS, 512 TR, Testarossa, 250 GTE, and a Daytona.

He is going to be emailing me pictures and I will be posting them here.

As I stated, I know of an F50, F40 (2 of them), 288GTO, to go along with MANY others in Iowa.

So, Finnerty, are you going to be flying United or American??

Last summer there was a blue Gallardo in Council Bluffs, IA with in-transit tags. Later found out the owner lives in Omaha though. For the ones that find it hard to believe that their would be some of these before mentioned exotics in Iowa, wouldn't you be suprised to know that there is an Enzo and F40 in Nebraska.

No, I would not be at all surprised ---- the combined wealth of the Omaha / Lincoln area is at least 1,000 times the total wealth of the entire state of Iowa! And, before you think about disagreeing with my math ---- don't forget that Warren Buffett lives in Omaha.....

What a crappy contest we had......

1st Place - Having your ass kissed by another man and posting the pics on the internet.
2nd Place - Having to do this kissing.

I'm excited to see the photos. I hope they include images of the license plates, since St. Donatus is literally seconds from Illinois and minutes from Wisconsin. Regardless, please post them and put an end to the naysaying (including my own!).

I am not going to try to BS people by claiming an Iowa car when it isn't.

The ONLY car out of that group that MAYBE was from anywhere other than Iowa was the TR. That might have been owned by a guy named Jim from Illinois, literally on the other side of the river from Davenport in whatever town that is.

Usually the Wisconsin crew that comes down was made up of a 308, 328, 355 and a pair (blue one and a red one) of 250GTO "recreations" both built on 250GTE platforms/motors by Wayne Obry of Motion Products. Almost no one from Illinois.

For that matter, none of the photos posted thus far have plates in them ---- not even the plates of cars parked next to them. I'm not accusing anyone of BS ----- I've just got my "lawyer" hat on

As far as the links go.... I have seen the red Pantera (last year) and the red 360 spider (last week), both running with Iowa plates. But, of course, I didn't get any pictures ---- so, since I will hold myself to the same standard.... I don't even "believe myself" -- LOL

The Enzo that is in Omaha, was purchased at Ferrari of Denver and has never been plated. It part of a very large collection that also includes an F40 among others.
