Thanks for the pics. Ironically, I am in the background of the first picture. I thought the show went well, lots of American classics, several European classics and some other not so common automobiles. You are also correct that the show was lacking in Ferrari content, there were only two there and neither were in the judged classes of the show. I am hoping to change that for next year's show though.

Is there any way that they will be adding online ticket sales for next year ?

I heard that this was the last concours for Louisville and Churchill Downs. Next year it will supposedly be in French Lick, Indiana at some resort hotel that is already a large sponsor. Churchill Downs was wanting another 20k on top of whatever they were already getting......so I heard.

I will make a note to mention that. I think to buy advance tickets you had to call and give them your credit card number this year.

I certainly am not going to confirm or deny what you heard :)

I am assuming that your 308 was the one at the show yesterday, the azzurro blue is really an exceptional color and your car looked great! Thanks for bringing it.

Thanks Brian for the compliment. That was mine. She has come a long way. She will never be a concours car, but she shows well and is a beautiful example. Had it recently repainted by Autosports in Nicholasville. We blew it apart of course and did the blacks too. It was fairly used up when she arrived here this time last year.

Shame they are moving the show. Shame CD does not donate the facility use...or at cost. I am thinking French Lick will kill the show as far as KY is concerned, leaving Keeneland as the only one local and in state. Perhaps they are going after Indy crowd. The hotel looks nice, but looks small for inside parking and lacking for paddock cars.

Thanks Scott. Nice picture too. Ed and I are sitting in the background near the GTV6. He too has a 308, red with black interior. He is from Louisville.

    Best Regards,
