Are there any links out there for pics of last Saturday? I devoted my day to IMS but I hear the turnout was awesome at C&C.

Spoke at length with McLaren guys out at the Speedway. They were very forthcoming with answers to a variety of questions. It is certain however that there will be no independents able to work on those cars. Access to the on board ecu's are needing a recognition code from a factory trained and certified technician. No parts will be sold out of dealerships, only those used by them or between dealers. Can't even get a paint code for a bodyshop, all repairs must be in-house. Pretty much the same as the original F1 Macs.

The HRG was the prettiest IMO, plus the Graber bodied Jag.

Start your morning off with a visit to Cars & Coffee and then head over to the track for Pole Day for the Indy 500.

I was in Milwaukee for the IndyCar race. Coming home on I-94, got passed by Bobby Rahal driving an old Shelby Cobra. He was driving it like a race car driver. Oh wait...

Later, we stopped for a bio-break and diet coke and ran into both Bobby and Graham at a gas station. Graham said, "Hey, I thought you would have been at C&C today." I'm like "Heck no, I'm supporting IndyCar at The Mile because the more butts we have in the stands, the more the promoters know we want this track on the schedule". For those of you that are interested, Michael Andretti said they are returning to The Mile in 2013! Ticket renewals start today!!!
