Anyone want to do a photoshoot?

I've been telling myself I was going to come up for a cars and coffee for about a year now and I think I finally have some time to come up to NoVA for a weekend. I haven't done any shoots lately and I've been really wanting to get some done. I'm not too picky about what I shoot or when for that matter, I've got most of the summer free. Anywhere within 2 hours of northern va would work. The photoshoots are free, though I do sell prints of my photos simply to pay for more camera gear.

Please let me know if anyone is interested and here are a couple of my shots for those that haven't seen my work before:

I would be interested. Do you have any fav spots? I have been looking to get some great pics of my cobra similar to the first photo in your post.

I don't, I haven't lived up north for awhile, that shot was taken here in Williamsburg. Let me know your location and I can usually dig around on google maps and come up with a good location or two.

There is a rock quarry in Springfield/Alexandria off Edsall Rd @ I395 one exit north of I495 mixing bowl that looks like would make interesting location for the industrial look. Driving by looks there there piles of different material and/or conveyor gizmos or giagantic dumptrucks that make good backdrops right from thier customer parkinglot for that industrial look. Maybe get permission for a chaperoned shoot from other locations inside quarry. Railroad tracks and ponds/lake nearby and some interestly lit office/industrial buildings for a night shoot.

Near Katie's where the C&C is held; Colvin Run Mill, Burke Lake, Great Falls Park, Meadowlark Gardens Regional Park, Wolftrap Farm Park for Performing Arts, Algonkian Park...

That does looks like a really cool location, usually just asking gets you in the door, I did a shoot with a Bentley CGT and the local airport let us right onto the ramp as long as we steered clear of the runway.

Just scoped it out on yahoomaps satellite view and see some cool spots you can't see driving by. Its near where I garage my Lancia and a couple rallycars. Maybe I'll try shooting some from their customer parking lot next weekday I'm off work so I can go inside and ask. They are pretty good people over there. They allow us (Fairfax Fire) to use the quarry/water hole every winter when it freezes for water rescue drills. Just remember, it is a working yard and there are lots of big rigs moving around in there.
