F-Cars in Ecuador?

Taken a short trip to Ecuador next week and wondering if F-cars even exist out there? Does anyone have any idea? Anyone on Fchat live out there?
Thanks

Ecuador

This is an old post but just came across it again. I was just in Quito 6 weeks ago. I strained to look for exotics, but did not find any. I was excited to see a new Ford Mustang with stripes. While there, I thought it would be a great idea to have an exotic car club where Ferrari's can be driven on the Pan American highway which was recently paved and in great shape. The mountains were amazing and the driving would be thrilling. All I need is a few exotics and I am in business. If anyone knows of any special cars in Ecuador, please let me know.

I know a family that lives in Quito and they are always on the lookout for cool cars to snap pictures of and send to me. To give you an idea of the quality of cars there, the other day i was shown by them a pic of a Mitsu 3000 GT. So there isnt much there! ha!!

That being said - the PanAm Highway is super cool and blasting through there in a Ferrari would be special for sure - as long as you were safe.......

When I was in Ecuador last year the closest thing to an exotic that I saw was a C6 Corvette in the outskirts of Quito. There was no shortage of regular cars with Ferrari shields on the fenders.

Do you have any pictures? Or a link to the event? Sounds cool.

I've been to Guayaquil and some other cities in Ecuador. you will probably never see a Ferrari or any exotic. I remember driving past a Porsche dealer. They had one cayenne and one boxster.

'Nuff said.

Ive been there with my family for vacation. A nice place to visit but I don't think it's the right place to spot some exotics. During my stay there, I didn't even see one.

I am South American myself and I have never seen pics of ferraris in Ecuador. My country (Perú) does have a few though.

Been twice this year and going again in December for a few weeks. They do have a Porsche dealership there - had a nice Panamera in the showroom when i was there last. Have also seen a few Boxters driving around....lots of Cayennes....but nothing even remotely exotic yet. I will surely post a photo if i see anything on this trip....

I have Ecuadorian friends but they keep all their F Cars outside that country. Sensible.
