Sold the Gallardo, picked up an LP640 Roadster

I have been looking for the right Orange Murcielago for years. A few weeks ago I heard about one and was able to make the deal line up. I got the car a few days ago and I am hugely impressed. It has a bit over 24k miles and is very well broken in, definitely one of the strongest Murcielagos I have ever driven. Lots of service records and ready to go. I have only driven it about 200 miles because it is 105 degrees here in Atlanta but I am absolutely smitten. Here are some quick pictures that I snapped of it:

You were the only one brave enough to endure the heat on Saturday in a Lamborghini Convertible. Mine was at home. I am a bit envious of you getting to drive it all the way home. I am looking for a good road trip to do in this one soon.

After a 50k mile 360 spider, 2 40k mile Gallardos and many others I am not worried about the miles. I put a 2 year Lambo CPO warranty on it so I am ready to double that mileage soon.

Yeah, a stick is always great but this one ticked the rest of the boxes and I had to do it. I still love yours but it is nice not to have to drive with my head against the ceiling too.

Oh, so you like driving with your head sticking out above the windshield? lol

Gotta love the wind in your hair! And the occasional bug.

Congrats!

Now add a aftermarket hardtop, the muffin top is probably never going to go on.

I haven't played around with the top on this one too much but I intend to use it quite a bit. Once you get the hang of putting them on it really isn't too tough and doesn't take very long. The weather here is fairly predictable so we don't have crazy storms sneak up on us too fast but you do need a top occasionally!
