1984 Countach 5000s PPG Paint code.

My Countach is eventually ready for it's repaint. (Previous owner had painted it black, factory colour is white).

Does anyone have the paint code handy please?.

Alternate is to go with the brightest white available?.

Gary,
What would the harm be if I go with brightest white that is currently available. I bought the car for my daughter and I want to go back to Factory but she wants it to really stand out.

Anybody else please chime in.

Polo Park is period correct and best for providence and resale - not the brightest white but your painter can certainly make it stand out depending on what finish you go for. Otherwise if you intend to have the car a very long time and don't really care about resale so much go for the modern balloon white - bright as they come!

Forget the paint discussion... did you say a girl is going to be driving a countach?
You bought this for your daughter? !!!! Is she a "fan" or just wanted something cool?
How often does think she will be driving it? Let's hear the story LOL

If you're doing it for her, please please please have her join here, make friends and get a real appreciation for the car, history, and the workings.

There are in fact several lady Countach owners. Angela B in Beverly Hills being one that comes to mind, and she still has her LP500S, which as far as I can remember she has had for at least 20 years.

Presumably she won't want it to stand out like a sore thumb! Resist all temptation and stick to the correct period oem colours!
