I remember being at one of the Earls Court shows when there was a gold Countach and 2 other gold Lamborghinis, but can't recall what year it was. It was very hard to get near the Lamborghini stand. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera in those days.

The car is KLA12890, still yellow, and in a nice private collection in Belgium since many years.

Had a great countach experience today!....Happy Fathers Day.

In the State of CT. we held a Make-A-Wish event with many Italian exotics taking boys and girls on a parade back to the Ferrari & Friends Concorso. I had the honors of taking a boy that was thrilled to find out his ride was a countach, he loved every second of it. I have always wanted to own a c/t and pay it forward like this, I guess a wish of my own happened today too.

The countach has bridged another generation, come the end of the day I was awarded the 2011 Make-A-Wish, Children's Choice Award, yet another honor to this day.

A few pics of a spectacular day...

(do we all remember the GoodHumor truck)

Joe I have been considering the euro bumper for a while. When you made this comment with "feeling", there was no looking back. I didn't think I could love this car any more, having the euro bumper seems to turn the car's attitude up a notch or two. Good advice Joe.

Ohhhh, that was Analogkid23 with the camera......when I first got there. Should have introduced yourself. I was kind of quick as my wife was temporarily stuck in the street with the Urraco on the trailer.

How come nobody has jumped on the lowbody on ebay being sold by Cats Exotics? It looks like a real nice car with new paint and service, and I figured it would have sold for the asking price of ~$185K and been on a boat to Europe already!

Damn, look at that! How old is that car, and still a better shape than most of the supercars that have come since. In fact, has there ever been a more definitive shape? Right there, that's what fired my imagination when I was 15.
