The explanation I got from someone close to the action was that the sequential gearbox was not his favourite part of that car... some of the skill went away from the driver, so the "hot shots" who couldnt keep a clutch in a 996 CC car because their techniques werent so clever, were able to play "Playstation" with the 997 CC car with the sequential shift and look like heroes....
LOL i might drop the WRX exhaust at the 1st cat and idle in their driveway how about that. Was meant to visit a few venues tonight commencing with the HAWTHORN but too tired after full days fishing. 23 as far as i can see looks tired, but good to get an idea of the boat anyway. Repowered with a new 305ci mercruiser 2001
ah... i had scallops for the first time in almost 20 years a few days ago. we used to live on the yorke peninsula and would regularly bring home 44gallon drums full of scallops, of course being one of the slaves (kids) we had to sit there for 6 hours peeling the f&*king things, but dam they were nice! had no clue how to cook them, so i boiled half of the batch and fried in garlic/butter/etc the rest... both batches were excellent.
i've been thinking of setting up a supply-chain between Beama and my parents, Beama can get all the good ocean-going crustaceans my olds love (abalone etc) and my olds can get Yabbies. not sure if that werks out as a quid-pro-quo but hey.....
It was a pretty design.... if you arent contaminated by little things like needing to pay the bills and put stickers on the side of real paying people... you can make lots of cars look good Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
AU falcon is just an aweful looking thing in general...but the race car in that scheme always looked very nice
try this ,small cup cake trays, dob of butter, garlic, scallop, cognac and parsly and in the oven at about 200 degrees for 5 minutes.
yeah indeed, even my gf at the time really loved that car, it really was a mesmerising scheme. if i ever sponsor a racing team i'll use the silver/black/emerald scheme for sure.
yes our catch of pinky snapper from today fried up nicely with a bit of lemon juice. hope to get onto a few more tomorrow possibly some salmon too few flathead about today but no decent sizes. flatty tails also v tasty
i like freshwater stuff, yellerbelly and stuff like that. Murray rocks for fishing, much more relaxing than ocean for mine.
freshwater fishing is really nice, and definately more laid back. not often a 30kt wind blows up form nowhere on the murray resulting in 2m swells ..port phillip bay on the other hand but on a day like today (yesterday) that was dead calm with a slight breeze, bay is a great place to be
don't know why but i have an affinity with the river. only time i like the ocean is on a stormy day with huge rips, it's like it's showing how powerful it is... otherwise i'm happy to never see the beach ever again.
This was the original concept, pre Seattle windtunnel. Too much lift at the front, not enough air to rads etc etc eventually we changed the car as per the last pic. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice... the AU is butt ugly platform though.. whoever did the black shadow around the lamps should get a medal... it's a tiny detail that transforms the car totally...
