Big BMW fan and ex-E90 owner (that almost soured me on BMWs, re: fuel pump issues).

Favorites are the E30 M3, E46 M3, and E9x M3. Hell, pretty much every generation of the M cars, really.

Wanted the new 6 series convertible but no manual = no sale for me. Shopping around for another 2+2 'vert now.. 335 is out as well, due to the fuel pump problems.

He ordered a new genuine part from BMW in Brisbane and paid AU $987 for it back in late 2006.

He fit it, then sold the car soon afterwards as he was paranoid it was going to be a money pit and send him broke over time.

Whoops, forgot the pic.

My first real car, the one I bought with every penny of my own money, was a 1995 M3. It had been my dream car for as long as I liked cars, and it was so amazing. I had a lot of experiences with that car, some not smart to be sharing online lol.

I also had a 1998 740il which was amazing.

I now currently own a 2003 x5 4.6is that I bought a few years back.

I love BMWs and apart from Ferrari they are my favorite cars (Porsche is up there too).

My sister currently drives a 325i and my father has a 530 (both manuals).

BMWs are amazing driver's cars. M3's are so well balanced they make even novice drivers look like heros.

Also might add that given how high gas prices are i've been debating selling the x5 and going back to an m3. e46s can be had for great prices these days, and if I ever found one that had some nice mods (CSL bodykit for example), I would probably do the swap.

Had a '00 328i a few years ago, the maintenance could be a hassle but it was a great driving car.

E38 is my favorite larger sedan. Fast enough, agile, attractive, and surprisingly cheap to own.

I have an E90. Love it. This is the only picture I have on my new computer right now. Took it after a fresh detail. I'll post up more pics when I get a chance.

I loved my '85 635CSi. It was the "Ultimate Driving Machine" or whatever they called them but cost a fortune to keep going.
