Jun 16: Jupiter Light House Tour. When: 9:00 am. Take leisurely drive up the Alternate A-1-A starting with a meeting at the Northern Trust Bank at the intersection of Alternate A-1-A and PGA Blvd. Proceeding north to the historic Jupiter Lighthouse for a tour of that facility followed by a brunch at the Bubba Gump restaurant overlooking the Jupiter Inlet. Pay as you go but RSVP to Steve Selz at (561)694-0260 or (561)358-4696 to confirm so that we have a head count for the restaurant.

Paul,

Hopefully they'll let me back in. The last time I was at the top of the lighthouse, I was walking around and looked up and saw a light sensor exactly like I had at my house. You know the kind that turns on the lights when it gets dark.

So I'm thinking, it can't really be that simple. That little $4.99 item turns this whole lighthouse on, it just can't be.

So, I'm sure you know where this story is going. I reach up and put my hand over the light sensor and WHAM... the light comes on, all the other equipment comes on, very loud by the way and I immediately remove my hand and it all stops. Scared the crap out of me and a few others.

I laughed my a.. off all the way down those many steps and got yelled at by my wife the entire time.

If we can make it, I'll promise not touch anything...

I'm still laughing about it...

Sounds like a great time.......I should be able to attend!
