ModificationsThe engine is a transplant from a 1985 745I Turbo which sold only in Europe and was otherwise imported as grey market cars to the US.

The engine classification is M106, a 3.5 liter straight six like the one in my other 635 but has a turbo specific head and exhaust manifold. The turbo is a rebuilt K27 (OEM) set up to run 10 psi. (non-intercooled at this time). Stock is 6 psi .

ECU is fitted with a Miller WAR chip (programmable). It runs fine in cool weather but I would have to be careful on hot days until I get it inter-cooled.

Injectors are Ford High Performance 42 lb/hr.

The exhaust is THREE INCH diameter, hand fabricated stainless steel all the way back.

Transmission is a Getrag 5-speed (260) with a 3.25 Posi differential.

Current HP is about 250 with maybe 280 ft lbs torque. Tricky on wet roads.
