I really dig this thread!...so many great ideas

I bought smoked turkey legs from Whole Foods over the weekend and shredded the meat to use for a quesadilla last night...along with carmelized onions, mushrooms and copious amounts of jack cheese it was quite tasty!

Well Darth I should of took a picture of the plate, but I ended up with the beef bowl cut , cream of spinach ,cream of corn, and fully loaded bake potatoe ...and to finish a slice of banana cream pie. A birthday tradition since I was a kid.

Beer can was in the bird
Rub was store bought from some specialty place. Was awesome.

That sounds like fun. Easy to put an Asian twist on that, too.

That looks tasty yet I have never had either one. I am very curious though about both but especially foie gras.

Squab = pigeon. Foie gras = fatty duck liver.

Both are very tasty. I particularly love foie gras when done properly.

Stuffed roasted Cornish game hen with wild rice and green tea. Brined the hen and then seasoned with a rub from a local meat market that is simply amazing + Allegro.

I like the simplicity of the whole meal.

I have been in withdrawl for a nice simple steak dinner and sides. Homemade salad dressing (a simple venegrette) with all veggies cut & served very quickly?
