Breakfast Texas Style: go out on front porch, shoot dove, clean and wrap in bacon, insert sliced jalapeno and grill. THAT is a hearty breakfast.....

If you're a garlic fan and haven't tried this: Take some garlic and slice it wafer-thin & lightly sautee it with some olive oil to get it partially cooked. Then take your cut of meat and stab it throughout just enough to where you can push the garlic into the cuts. Let it rest overnight or at least for a few hours & throw it on grill as you normally would and enjoy. The garlic really permeates the meat and is oh-so tasty....

Did a Brazilian Carne Asada tonight with tri-tip....

I changed it up a bit with Argentine Calabresa Sausage instead of Linguica and some pasta shells, cooked right in the savory broth.... Trust me when I tell you the pics do not do this justice!

I think it's a California thing. My brother couldn't find them in Texas either when he lived there.

They're good if you can get a butcher to cut you one.

If you want to try this without one, use stew beef and boneless short ribs.
