Very cool Grant.

I really like your vector work. You should look into selling them on t-shirts, mugs, posters, etc.

The emblem looks fantastic! Very cool work!
Do you work with any software at all, or is it exclusively by hand?

amazing work guys, really inspiring talent here!!

i haven't done any proper art in several years, so i'm having to re-learn some techniques LOL this is the first one.....so don't flame me quite yet LOL

this is only a "Work-in-progress", being the initial sketches and first color tests......i'm not 100% satisfied with it......once i've corrected somethings will produce a more finished work yet

i like the vector work, that is something i haven't ventured into yet, but would love to dabble in soon....not sure which program to start out with?

it's another snowy sunday afternoon, so.....i've been wanting to do something of a 246 Dino

first i make a line frame to start, i scan & print it lightened grey, then begin acrylic/water coloring it in
second pic is finished work, third is enhanced slightly on computer for effect

i plan to do a few variations using this frame, this is the first one.......i tend to try and not do art too realistic, there's photography for that, i prefer that an art work look like it was crafted by someones hand IMO

enjoy :-)

Some of my wife's work on our walls, she specializes in large scale paintings of transportation. We will be picking up a set of prints tomorrow to send off to New Zealand for an exhibition. (The two framed paintings are her fathers)

my first post,,,how fitting

Hello all, This is my first post and thought it would be fitting to post here in this thread. I'm interested in doing some Ferrari art so I thought I should join your community and learn a little bit about Ferraris and which models most would consider interesting subjects in a painting (i'm sure its a long list). Help me break into the Ferrari world! Hope you like these:
PS I have very high quality prints available of the second Martini 917 (front view) if we have any Porsche fans viewing! The last 2 pics of the 917 show the prints on top of the original. The very last Porsche is just a tiny painting.

Awesome paintings
Love your rendering of glasswork, and the patina/"hard racing use" look of the bodywork and paint. Very cool.

and welcome to Fchat.

Banned user? wow.. i was looking forward to seeing more of his work... just so I dont cross the same line may I ask why? Unless the reason is non-art related and therefore none of my business...

No its cool....I'm back. The admins just wanted to make sure with my previous username and post that I wasn't trying to be sneaky and break rules. Nope...just wanted to share and learn. A Ferrari is in my future. (a painting...not an actual Ferrari...not at this stage of my life anyways)
