Today was driving on Peterson on my way to Lake Shore Drive and spotted silver Aston Martin Vanquish, followed by a red classic Benz 300SL roadster, followed by a yellow Jaguar E-Type roadster. Nice trio!

Did you notice if the plates on the jag and vanquish we're very similar? If so, these wre my buddy and the 300sl s another guy I know.
The sl owner got the car for about 5k in the 70s, now worth about 500k

The last couple of days I've seen an Aston Martin V8 Vantage on 94 getting on around Skokie, a black Vanquish heading 94 south, red Ferrari 348 on 94, Audi R8 V10 on the back of an open trailer, and a track modified last gen Viper on the back of a trailer.

Also, on Monday heading east on 22 around Lake Zurich, I came up on an Audi S8 that looked like he lost control heading west, crossed the east bound lane, smashed the curb and ended up in the ditch. Luckily he didn't hit anyone else. He appeared fine, walking around. Definitely a good way to ruin your Monday!

You got me! The road was wet and sprinkling at the time, but no standing water to be seen. Wish I got pictures, front end was pretty smashed up. The guy did NOT look to happy

Couple of interesting cars spotted today at one of my favorite dealers. The 1952/53 Ferrari 166 Vignale is rather rare and the Detomaso a little different. I have seen another one of these Detomaso's around Chicago, or maybe it's the same car??
