Wife's booster seat

They did a nice job matching the leather and stitching. It blends in much better than the pics show

Ferrari outsourced it to a local furniture maker that they use. The whole thing was $700 which I thought was not outrageous. $200 for labor at Ferrari ( taking the seat out, creating mold and putting seat back ) and $500 for the leather and stitching. It has a molded fiberglass bottom so it fits perfectly in the seat, so it is not just a chunk of sponge and leater.

Very nice. Is the sport seat the same as the ones used in the 458s? I'm concocting schemes on getting a 458 Spider, and prefer the look of the sport seats. I'd like to be able to say to my wife that she also could drive the car, but she's a foot shorter than I am, so without the booster I think I'd have to get the electric seats. I also like heated seats for top down drives in cooler weather, though.

No pics of mine but I had a perfect match alcantara with matching stitch as well made for my scud for $400 local.

Find a local guy.

How tall is your wife to need this? My wife isn't very tall either, so I'm curious whether we need this mod, too.

My wife is 5'6" and thought the top of the tach was hindering her view. These are the CF racing seats which are lower than the other seats. Sometimes I wonder if she is just looking for excuses :-)

Nice work on the bolster, but it's time to give the interior a cleanup

It looks like its a 10yo pickup with all the junk in the car

Evo magazine imply that the heated memory seats weigh a lot more than the carbon race seats

Anyone have any idea on how much more?

SH$T you were not supposed to notice that :-) I guess that is what happens when you take your kid to school everyday. All the other dads in their mini-vans don't get it.

I disagree, there be a child in that back seat! That has to put them in the top 1%. And it looks immaculate compared to our minivan.

If Ferrari owners are included in the top 1%, a Cali owner with a kid in the backseat is in the 0.1%

Thanks. Your wife is tall relative to mine (5' 2.5") so I guess we had better not get the CF racing seats!

Is there some sort of correlation between shorter than average height girls and Ferrari California owners?

Or is two owners a sample size that is to small to be significant

I used to be married to women that needed a boster seat

She had a short mans complex.

I am sure that is not the case here. The seat if you must------looks nice.

My wife is the same height and she complains about the Daytona seats. Looking for a booster like this one. Quite nice.

Somebody here had one made for the Daytona seat and it came out looking great. FYI, when the wife is no drive the booster seat fits perfectly in the back for my son.
