The 2013 Range Rover (partially) revealed

Finally... they've peeled enough camo to give an idea about its shape.

I'm on my 3rd Range Rover. (A Supercharged full size.) Can't wait to see what Mark IV looks like when it's fully unveiled during the Geneva Motor Show this week. The current body style has been around for 10 years.

Hi,

nice to see an other RR enthusiast around here.

I've had 4 RR Mark III (last was a Supercharged Autobiography in nara bronze) before I decided to change my daily driver.

As you can see on the pictures the RR will get a very aerodynamic front and a sloping rear. It's also going to be more flat than the Mark III. For me it seems like a pumped up Evoque, which
made me decide to leave Land Rover as an owner. They are going to be a lifestyle brand and I don't like there new way of design.

We'll see if I am wrong soon, I think.

cheers
Bjoern

I looked at getting an 08, but at 110 inch wheelbase, it just seemed to small for a family.

the front does look like the expedition...maybe Tata forgot to change the design when they bought it.

i think RR problem is they cant do anything too aggressive for fear it will kill their sales. i have a RR sport and love the design, even though its pretty simple in form.

I think there is no need for LR to make major changes to the RR. It sells better than ever before and NO, usually RR owners don't want a mass produced car in their garage.

Since the Evoque has been launched, Land Rover thinks they are a "hip" and stylish lifestyle brand. What they are NOT!
Today you can order the RR with many stupid "packages" which make it look like a handbag on wheels.
It would a big mistake - IMHO - if LR launches a pumped up Evoque. I don't like the Evoque, because - IMHO - it's totally unnecessary and nothing more than an overpriced Freelander with vintage Ford engines. Plus, they gave it the RR brand, which is a stupid fault. This car is and will never be a RR.

About the reliabity - I started with a RR sc in 2007, also had two Diesel RR (3.6 and 4.4) and my last RR was a 2011 supercharged. There never were any problems, i never had a perfectly built car like my RRs (and I had F-cars, too ).

People often have a bad opinion about the Range - i can't share it.

I am kind of excited about what the next RR will look like, but, tbh, i don't expect much.

Lookks basically the same. But I like their simple style.
I agree the Evoque is kind of out there for LR, but the technology in all of these cars is amazing and way ahead of any of its competitors.
I've had a RR HSE and now we have an LR4.... They are awesome cars.
