I was going to go to the ARC Rally Calder next week but probably won't now, was expecting more from the forum battle but looks to be just a gathering of the Japanese import mob.

Now I don't feel so bad, that sounds like hell.

Oil Cooler has arrived.

Received my Oil Cooler this week from Lindsey Racing out of Oklahoma City, USA. Hoping to lower engine oil temperatures 15 degrees or so.

Will get this installed into my 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo in the next few weeks.

So it doesn't have an oil cooler as standard equipment?

Gee, such great quality on German cars...

My car in 1988 came standard with an engine oil cooler and a power steering fluid cooler. Both small radiators at the front. It also has an oil to water cooler. A transaxle cooler was optional. Unfortunately the original owner didn't take up that option. The cost to retrofit is $2,500 and not really necessary, I just change the transaxle oil every 6,000 klms or every second track day.

I am fitting an additional engine oil cooler because the last track day I did at Morgan Park was in 35 degree heat and the engine oil got up to 125 degrees. That is way too hot. I over service the car because I want it to last. This should keep the engine oil at a safe level.
