July 7th Cars & Coffee

Since the topic has started to monopolize another thread I figured I would start this one.

Who is braving the heat and going this weekend? I'll be there.

What time does it start in the summer though?

I am coming.

I won't have my 355 with me, though.

I would love to see this new triple-yellow Ferrari 458 and an F50.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!!!!

Wait a sec....does the F50 even HAVE A/C????

I should be there but not my car. It's in the shop and likely not back in time.
I haven't seen an F50 in over five years...if someone here in town has one, they're hiding it well. I saw a red 458 Spider at the dealership the other day and I was told that yellow has become a popular color on the spider orders. I have a Giallo Triplo Strata coupe on order that should be built this month. I don't think anyone else has ever ordered that color from the Scottsdale dealer.

The only F50 in town that I am/was aware of was this one which was owned by 410SA but I believe he sold it some time ago.

410SA's F50 is long gone.

That was a great Concourso that we held at Tempe Diablo stadium. That was the last big Concourso. We then morphed the show into Windgate Festival of Speed.

Back to C&C......

This month the action starts at 7:30.

Judging from the forecast, I suspect temps in the 80's. No reason to hide!!

See ya Saturday. Come say hi at the fountain....... that's where the shade is!

Back when Scottsdale Ferrari had an F50, they brought it out to 2011 Arizona Wheels of Italy back in February of 2011. That's the last time I saw one out and about.

Didn't know you had a Flickr, just added you as a contact!

I haven't posted much, keeping old pictures and not uploading the ones I liked was just slowing me down, so I deleted it all and am starting over with the pictures. So hopefully I can get more out.

That's the last one I saw, IIRC, it was in for a service and was sold by RM to a member's uncle here.

It's a book of Faces.

Also a correction; I just saw a ScuderiaSW post on Facebook that the start time is 7AM.

Got a small batch of photos up.

http://desert-motors.com/cpg/thumbnails.php?album=303

More to come soon! Thanks to everyone that brought cars out and, of course, to the organizers of the event. Even on a toasty morning like today, it was still a really nice turnout. It was nice to be back out shooting after missing last month's.

The white C63 AMG Black Series, a white Ariel Atom 3, the yellow 458 with the black standard, wheels (I hadn't seen that one before), the green and yellow Beck Lister (I also don't recall seeing that one) and I'm not sure what else I'm missing.
