Looking For a 76 corvette..

Long Story Short..
My wife still has the 76 vette coupe from her father..
100 % un restorable...sat for 20 years..mice live in it , outdoors.

Need to find the identical model in 75 76 or 77
350 automatic..white coupe with red /white interior..
upper range condition and relatively low miles, and or restored..

I have some one to do the Body and Mechanical change/ swap entire car parts, just need car..

any refferals appreciated as the entire car will end up having 25 gs+ put in it and will be worth 10.

Cannot talk wife out of it!

Didn't you post a similar thing a year or two back? I seem to recall a simlar situation if it wasn't you....

Those years were probably some of the worst years for corvettes which may mean fewer mint ones around since they weren't worth much relative to other vetts, but the "rarity" of a clean one shoudln't lead to a big price (you actually should be able to get a lot of car for the money!) There was a california car one or more of those years that I think only had a 305 V8 with automatic, 0-60 in the upper 9 second range! Some of those cars with the L82 motor weren't that bad though- maybe around 200hp + decent torque...

Good luck with the search! I remember being driven to nursury school in a brand new vette of that vintage with my cousin whose mom had one- we both sat in the back well area (forget about seat belts, no seats even!) Probably one of my earliest car memories... Ahh the 70's....good times
