Where to buy a 355 radiator
So my right side radiator blew during the weekend. Is it possible that the heat from the non-shielded Fabspeed headers contribute to radiator failure?
I searched all over the Internet and fchat for a reasonably priced replacement and found nothing. A Ferrari replacement is over 1000$ which is completely nuts. I also got a quote for a better built aftermarket unit from Euroquipe which is a Saldana radiator but it's "Ferrari-taxed" at 980$ for the unit. Can I get mine rebuilt at a local custom radiator shop? Are there any other sellers that offer a rad for a more realistic price? Any advice or reccommendations? |

My shop said it was beyond repair and it needs a replacement.

That is because there is no decently cost replacement. You are in a Ferrari (as am I)

However, this radiator thing is a tough one...looks like I'm gonna end up spending 4 digits because I just can't find anything anywhere!!!! |

Why not call the shop that built the aluminum radiators in that thread and see what they say? If my radiators were up for replacement and I would look into aluminum ones, light, good heat transfer, and corrosion resistance.

No way out on this one, it's gonna be expensive but at least the aluminium one going in the car is a major improvement over the stock rad. Last edited by treedee3d; 06-21-2012 at 12:45 PM. |
