windshield wipers are in the way

Literally I hate them being right in my line of sight. I've thought about taking them off.
Anyone else easily annoyed as I am and thought the same thing?

I feel the same way. I am about an inch away from taking them off. I never drive in the rain anyway. I also hate that they block the lower view out the windshield.

I really like seeing the wipers when driving. I think that is because that is one of the only things on the car beyond the engine/drivetrain that performs like a $140k supercar.

Are you saying wipers removed and rain x in case you get caught in an unfavorable "weather event?"

Now you will. The next time you are out, you will notice how much the main wiper sticks up several inches in the middle of the windshield to block your view of the lower part of the road. Then it will start to bug you.

There's a nice open area below the dash a 7" screen would fit nicely

I am looking to incorporate a gps and camera into it. I need to find a setip that can handle 3-5 cameras on driod based deal or get someone to write a program to do it

In SoCal we don't have "weather events." Only sunny days.

I hate that rear view mirror more than anything! I'm tall and it gets in the way of seeing anything behind you or in front of you, especially in a turn to the right, when you'd like to peak around the corner for that idiot bicyclist fixing his tire in the road off Mulholland. Besidews, with my tinted windows, I can't see anything behind with the top off anyway. Barely see anything with the top on.

I'm with you on the wipers too. My car seldom sees rain and never on purpose. I did have a laugh when Bruce got caught in a weather even last year at Supercar Sunday with no wipers.

The coolest thing about the wipers is that they are available at O'Reilly for $12.

I was trying to find a smaller rear-view mirror that was shorter and narrower, as the B and GTS guys don't need the giant stock mirrors as our rear windshields are microscopic. I was thinking something about the size of what was on little English roadsters, but I suck at googling stuff.

Here we have to have wipers installed inorder to pass state safety inspections.. Good thing they are easy to reinstall for just such things.
