Is there any confirmed news on the weight, the jurnos keep troiwing below 1200kg around, is that even theoretically possible, or are we looking for a 1300-1350kg car.

I was thinking that last time we had a half shadowed picture like this was a few days prior to the F12 unveiling. I understand that this F70 one is kind of a leak but nevertheless, as the picture does exist I can't help but wonder if they would surprise everyone with an unveiling before the end of the year... nah, probably not

I have heard as lkow as 1100kg but simply cannot believe it because of KERS. My guess would be 1200+, but it really is a guess and if they achieved that it would be remarkable. Of course what we do not know is just how much of an addition the KERS unit will make and thus the weight of batteries etc needed.

I'm sorry, but I've always though the "this car looks like that car" stuff that gets thrown around every time a new model is introduced is silly.
Every sports car has headlights, a grill, 2 doors, sloping roof line, etc... there aren't too many ways to completely reinvent the look of that. To say that a rear-engined Ferrari super car looks just like a front engined Corvette or Viper because the headlights and grill opening are slightly similar is ridiculous. |

You think the F70 looks like a Corvette?
You're getting more bitter by the day. |

At least we didn't have to hear that it was a bad copy of the P4/5 ;-)

Mark keep in mind that a mid-engined car's nose vents are radiator inlet, front brake cooling inlets, cockpit air inlet and radiator outlet.
I don't see the Enzo like protuberance being as pronounced or bumped up as you've shown it as while the F70 nose photo does show an Enzo like most forward part cue the deck of the nose is indented likely to funnel air to the sides around the cockpit. The front fender section will be narrow and probably a bit more curved than you've drawn it. (Think Group C more than LMP1 or DP) The indented rather than raised section with the air dam sides will accelerate the flow as they do on the DP but futher up the nose I bet they curve outwards to direct the flow and radiator outlet around the windscreen.
