This far along in the design process would they be still running incomplete cars?

I could see them driving a scantily clad mule around if they are just using it to dial-in chassis dynamics. Porsche is doing the same with the 918.

If they're doing the final settings wouldn't they want the weight and weight distribution to be as accurate as possible?

I would think that the fine tuning would be done without the added weight of false panels. Much of that work is actually done after the reveal but prior to sales.

I guess if we're talking about tweaking that makes sense.

Those spy-shots look amazing.... What a sexy profile.

The magazine "renderings" are terrible.

That's what Montezemolo said. This car would be shocking visually, name wise and price wise.

I'm really not sure what to make of these photos.

The mule seems to have 3 hood vents like te 458 gt but curved , reminiscent of the 250 GTO.

Those renderings are awful. I seriously need a new job if someone was paid for that.

As for the "rail wagon" wheels.. they seem to do just fine on P 4/5C.

Also.. do we really think F is going to use the same rear lights from the 599 on this new halo car?

My guess is Ferrari Avio. A tribute to the very first car built by Enzo, the Auto Avio Costruzioni 815.

Otherwise, as you say, might be Ferrari Tazio...

The Paris Motor Show press days are teh 27 and 28 of September. Ferrari should show this monster there. 10 years ago Ferrari did the same thing with the Enzo.

Enzo replacement is slated for private, high clientele unveiling in September. Public unveiling is early 2013.
